Runs 103 minutes

Moana's (Auli'i Cravalho) island is suffering under an ancient curse inflicted upon them by the demigod Maui (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson). Moana must set sail to find Maui and get the curse reversed before her family and everyone else on the island dies a terrible death.

This is a sweet Disney film. The animaition is gorgeous, the story is cute and the music is fantastic. The girl who voices Moana is a find. Her voice soars during her musical numbers (songs were co-written by Lin Manuel Miranda of Hamilton fame). The Rock even does an adequate job with his singing. He provides most of the humor with his roaming tattoos - pretty neat concept. Also, a landlubber chicken is pretty funny, too. This isn't my favorite animated film, but it is pretty good. The kids wll love it and there is enough to keep the adults entertained, although I thought it did drag just a little in the middle of the film. If you are a Disney fan, then go see it!!
