Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the gang  - Luther (Ving Rhames) and Benji (Simon Pegg) - are back. This time they must find some nuclear weapons that have fallen into the wrong hands after a mission goes haywire. Ethan is forced to work with August Walker (Henry Cavill), an agent with an unknown agenda. And, Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) joins in the hunt to watch Ethan's back. Together, they must face off with the evil Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) in order to find the bombs and save the world.

The Husband and I liked this movie. However, the plot is overly intricate. Sometimes, it doesn't really make sense. But, we don't go to see the Mission Impossible movies for their plots. We go for the stunts. And, you won't be disappointed. Tom Cruise is once again unbelievable. He jumps across buildings (where he broke his ankle during filming), he is flipped off of a motorcylce and over a car and he dangles from a helicopter. Yes, that is really him and he is pretty amazing. The fight scenes are pretty good, too. The movie is action-packed and entertaining. Still, it is too long and a little too convoluted. But, don't worry about that. It does resolve in an understandable way and it is still lots of fun. So, go see it.
