Ravi Patel is your typical 30 year-old single man looking for the right woman. But, this can be hard when you are Indian-American and your parents want you to marry a nice Indian girl and raise nice Indian kids  in America. Ravi is not opposed to that. He just doesn't know where to turn to meet this ideal woman. And, he has just broken up with his white American girlfirend of two years who he kept secret from his parents, afraid of their disapproval. The family decides to jump in and help Ravi. Afterall, his parents have been married forever and their marriage was arranged for them. With the help of his sister Geeta behind the camera, this film follows Ravi as he tries to find the perfect woman, hopefully an Indian-American one. From wedding season in India to a wedding convention, the film follows Ravi as he travels the country on dates. His parents even circulate his bio to all of their Indian relatives and friends, hoping for a match. Will Ravi find the girl for him - an Indian-American one that meets his parents approval?

This movie is cute and funny. The production quality is not good. They even make fun of it themselves in the movie. Geeta is not the best cinematographer. But, it did start out as just a home movie and morphed into a documentary, so that is what is looks like. Overall, it is entertaining and keeps you invested in Ravi's quest for the perfect match. If you like indie films and documentaries, then this is for you. Worth a look.
