Carl Black (Mike Epps) is finally able to move his family out of Chicago and into a much nicer neighborhood in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, the move coincides with the Country's annual Purge night where all crime is legal for 12 hours. Suddenly, Beverly Hills doesn't seem any safer than their old Chicago neighborhood. And, what did Carl do to get the money to move to Beverly Hills anyway??

This is a spoof of the Purge films. The concept is funny but the movie is not. Everyone tries really hard but this movie just wasn't funny to me. Sometimes I like these spoof films but most of the time I am disappointed. I liked the Purge films because I thought they were very original and creative. This film is not. Unless you are desperate for something to go see, I would skip this one. Don't even bother with the DVD.
