Derek Hough is Donny, a street kid on probation who just wants to dance. He decides to skip out of New Orleans to hook up with his foster brother Nick (Wesley Jonathan) in New York who just happens to own a night club with live dance performances. He arrives right in the middle of a feud over the club between his brother and his ex-business partner Kaz (Will Yun Lee).  Of course, Kaz has a beautiful and talented sister, Aya (BoA) with immigration problems who is immediately declared off limits to Donny.  So, of course Donny and Aya fall in love and dance their way into bed.  Will the feud get resolved?  Will Aya get a work visa?  Will Donny be able to dance?

None of this matters.  It is just really great to see Derek Hough steam up the big screen.  He is hot. His acting is ok. The dancing is really fun.  The dancing as foreplay scene is extremely cheesy.  But that should make the girls happy. If you love dance movies, this is for you.
