Magic Mike (Channing Tatum) left the stripper business behind 3 years ago and started his own handmade furniture company. It is a struggle. When he finds out that the remaining Kings of Tampa are getting together for one last hurrah, he decides to go along for the ride. Richie (Joe Manganiello), Tarzan (Kevin Nash), Ken (Matt Bomer), Tito (Adam Rodriguez) and Magic Mike hit the road and head for the male stripper convention in Myrtle Beach. Along the way, we find out that Dallas (Matthew McConaughey) took the kid from Magic Mike 1 and headed to Europe. So, the boys are without an MC. They stop in Savannah and run into Rome (Jada Pinkett Smith) an old "friend" of Mike's and now the boys have an MC and two additional members of the boys club, Malik (Stephen "Twitch" Boss) and Andre (Donald Glover). After a few other stops, and a random meeting with Zoe (Amber Heard) they make it to the big show in Myrtle Beach. The boys are in top form, but have also realized that they have missed each other and they will always be the Kings of Tampa.

Ok. I loved the first Magic Mike. I liked this one okay. It is funny. There is very little plot. Which is fine if there had been more dancing and less stopping and messing around with rich ladies. That section of the film really slowed the movie down. When it was just the guys together, riding in the van or practicing, they were funny and enjoyable. The dancing was fabulous. There just wasn't enough of it. Michael Strahan had a funny cameo. Twitch looked like a body builder or something once he got to his final dance - very abtastic!! Of course, my hero Channing Tatum was in fine form. He looked great, was still a sweet character and his dance moves have only gotten better.  For Magic Mike 3, more Channing Tatum, please. And was that really Matt Bomer singing? Loved that! Get the girls and go see it for fun. The hoots and hollers from the crowd were just as loud as for the first one.
