Gerard Butler is back as Mike Banning, lead Secret Service agent for President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart). Mike is struggling with the demands of his job and expecting a baby soon. When the Prime Minister of London suddenly dies, all Heads of State travel to London for the funeral and Mike must put all personal things aside and do his job. Little did anyone know that they were all headed directly into a terrorist plot to destroy London and kidnap the President of the United States. Against all odds, can Mike Banning keep the President safe and take down the terrorists?

This is basically the sequel to Olympus has Fallen. If you liked that film, you'll like this one. This one is action packed! Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart are both likeable and have an easy rapport. Throw is Morgan Freeman and Angela Bassett and you have a great cast in a fun, action movie. This is a good, mindless March film, pro-American and very rah-rah! Good guys vs. bad guys. The husband and I had a good time. Go see it.
