Runs 105 minutes

Ollie (Tessa Thompson) lives in a small North Dakota town. She has been earning a living smuggling drugs across the Canadian border for residents who can't afford good healthcare. Once she is caught she faces the consequences and is determined to leave this life behind when her probation is completed. But, things don't always go as planned. She is about to lose the house her mother left her and her sister Deb (Lily James) is facing a difficult situation. The sisters are forced to make one more run to save the house and themselves. Will they make it out alive?

This was a better movie than I expected. The acting was great. Lily James was really good as a hard-scrabble single mother down on her luck. You could feel the tension mounting from the very beginning. These girls had hard lives but I'm not sure I would have resorted to smuggling drugs. Anyway, you hope everything will turn out ok even as you know that something bad is about to happen. The ending was a little different than I expected, so that was good. This was a nice little crime drama that kept my interest. Worth watching - maybe when it comes out on Netflix or something.
