Pepper Busbee (Jakob Salvati) is an eight year-old boy who is small for his age. In fact, his nickname is Little Boy because of his size. He has no friends his own age, only his Dad (Michael Rapaport) who is his best friend, his "Partner". When his Dad is sent to fight in WWII, Pepper is beside himself. After hearing a sermon one Sunday about faith the size of a mustard seed that can move a mountain, he goes to visit the local priest, Father Oliver (Tom Wilkinson). Pepper wants to know if he has enough faith to bring his father home from the war. Father Oliver tells him that he cannot have any doubt in his heart and if he truly believes, then he can do anything. Pepper sets out to do whatever it takes to bring his Father home.

This is a truly heart-warming and inspiring film. It is being billed as a faith-based film, but it should appeal to all audiences. The story is told from the perspective of an eight year-old boy and he is so cute and adorable. He is perfectly cast. The little boy's love for his Father will touch your heart and lift your spirits. The movie does have some realistic aspects that relate to WWII (and the atom bomb also named "Little Boy"), bigotry against the Japanese and death. You will definitely need a kleenex or two, as well. But, in the end you will be inspired by a little boy's faith and how he made the impossible come true. Go see it.
