When Lila's (Viola Davis) son is brutally murdered in a drive-by shooting, she can barely function through her grief. Eventually, she attends a support group where she meets another grieving mother, Eve (Jennifer Lopez). Together they realize that the authorities have very little information to work with and have basically let their cases go cold. Lila and Eve team up to avenge Lila's son's death and move forward on their road to recovery.

This is an average thriller. Viola Davis makes any movie better than it should be. You can see where this is headed a mile away. But, it isn't terrible and it does keep you guessing a little. So, if you like Viola Davis, watch it on VOD or go see a matinee. It is short and fast-paced. Very average.
