Runs 81 minutes

Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) is living on her own and dating Bret (Alexander DiPersia), a really nice guy. She thought she had left all of her family's craziness behind. But, her younger brother Martin (Gabriel Bateman) is experiencing some terrifying events that are leaving him sleepless. Rebecca remembers night terrors of her own and decides to try to help Martin. She also learns that their Mother Sophie (Maria Bello) is off her meds. It seems that when Sophie is unmedicated her depression is so deep that it allows a window for Diana (Alicia Vela-Bailey) to visit. Only, Diana died years ago. Now Diana is haunting Martin just like she did when Rebecca was young. And, Diana won't let anything come between her and Sophie. Their only hope is that the lights never go out.

There is not a wasted minute in this film. It starts off with a bang and the tension just keeps mounting. There are some typical stupid moves by the characters - like really DON'T go down into the scary, dark basement by yourself! But, all in all a decent scarefest. I really liked it. Short and suspenseful. Good characters and good actors. Nice use of depression as window into the paranormal. I think I'll sleep with the lights on for a few nights. If you like scary movies, then go see it!
