Ryan and Justin (Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans, Jr.) are two struggling friends. They have no real career potential, no confidence and are just kinda lame. Then, they decide to dress as cops for a masquerade party (yes, they were the only idiots in costume instead of just masks...) and all of a sudden people notice them and take them more seriously. So, they decide to pretend to be cops all the time. Ryan gets in too deep and starts to solve a case involving mobsters and dirty detectives. Eventually, he needs Justin's help to get out of a life threatening jam. Will they be able to be the heroes that they always wanted to be or end up on the wrong side of a mobster's gun?

This movie starts off really run-of-the-mill. I was worried that it might be really bad. Then, it kinda picked up the pace. it was funny in parts and there was a nice, little investigation that Ryan had to solve. So, in the end, it was an average movie. You could probably wait for the Red Box... it might be funnier with friends at home.
