An Ultra-secret spy organization has just lost an agent and is recruiting for a replacement. Galahad (Colin Firth - they all have Camelot spy names) nominates a street kid with whom he has a past history. Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton) decides to give it a try because he has nothing to lose. He joins the other recruits, all very snobby and pretty rude to him at first, and together they begin to train to try to become a Kingsman. Along with their adopted puppies (you have to see the movie for the cute puppies!), the recruits are put through the ringer at the same time that a techno-terrorist Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson with a pronounced lisp) is trying to reduce the Earth's population. Who will win the coveted spot and become a Kingsman? And, will they stop the evil Valentine before it is too late?

I really liked this movie. I was afraid that is was going to be all action packed fighting but there was actualy an interesting story. I was really pulling for Eggsy to ace the recruitment process. (And, the puppies were so cute...) The Husband liked it, too. Our only complaint was that it seemed just a little long toward the end. I think we were both pleasantly surprised that we liked it so much. Stay for the credits because there is a whole new scene that you don't want to miss. The perfect February movie. Go see it!
