Runs 94 minutes

Karla Dyson (Halle Berry) turns her back for a minute and her son Frankie (Sage Correa) is kidnapped from the City Park. She makes it to the parking lot just in time to see him being forced into an old mustang. She decides to take matters into her own hands following the kidnappers as they drive away with Frankie. This turns into a harrowing game of cat and mouse as Karla will stop at nothing to get her son back.

Ok. This isn't the world's best movie. There are huge plot holes - how does Karla lose her cell phone in the parking lot? How does no one appear to notice the wreckage she is leaving in her wake as she follows after Frankie? And, why give up her wallet?? You know she is going to need those credit cards. BUT - the movie is still action-packed with a few surprises up its sleeve. Halle Berry gives a game performace as the Mom who will not let these kidnappers out of her sight. You will groan at some of the decisions she makes, even as your blood pressure slowly rises. Just go with it and you can have a good time. Halle Berry is beautiful even if she is constantly talking to herself since she is alone in her car for most of the movie. Plenty of adrenaline. No brain required. May be good for a late night film with your rowdy friends. People in my screening were laughing and clapping and having a good time. Lower your expectations and just have fun.
