Runs 80 minutes

A loving look at the ancient city of Istanbul and the many cats that roam the streets. This film follows several of these independent animals and the humans that watch over them and feed them. You see, cats are very beloved creatures in Istanbul, self-sufficient and free. Humans are only incidental.

This is a magnificent documentay, especially if you love cats. It is filmed from the cats' perspectives as they roam the streets, climb trees and hunt for food (or steal food from the local street vendors). The screening I attended was packed and people were clapping at the end. Honestly, I thought I was going to be the only one there. What a pleasant surprise. It is a sweet and heart-tugging look at one of the world's most mysterious creatures, the cat. Go see it!
