Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) has switched sides and is now all about protecting the new dinosuars from extinction again. With a volcano eruption bearing down on Isla Nublar, it appears the dinosaurs are in desperate need of rescue. When Claire is summoned to the Lockwood estate, she thinks her prayers have been answered. Eli Mills (Rafe Spall), Benjamin Lockwood's (James Cromwell) assistant wants to hire Claire to help rescue a sample of all of the dinosaur species and move them to a new secluded island. The only problem is that she will have to get Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) on board and they are not on the best of terms. Owen reluctantly agrees because he is curious to see Blue, his pet dinosaur again. Of course, all is not what it appears and soon Claire and Owen have discovered an evil conspiracy. Now, they must save the dinosaurs and themselves at the same time.

I thought this was a fun summer popcorn movie. It is action packed with plenty of humor. I love Chris Pratt and he doesn't disappoint. He is cute and funny. The dinosaurs are the real stars of the film. They are huge and so realistic. The ending is particularly humorous when the dinosaurs get a little payback. The destruction they cause is pretty amazing. Overall, this was an amusing movie that kept my interest. And, of course it appears that there will be at least one more sequel. If you are a fan of the Jurassic Park series, then go see this one.
