Jurassic World heads back to Isla Nublar twenty-two years after the opening of the original Jurassic Park. Now, the island is a fully functioning theme park of wonder, awe and dinosaurs. But, nothing is free and revenues have been declining. In order to increase attendance, a brand new dinosaur has been genetically created  - the Indominus Rex - to be bigger, faster and meaner than even the T-Rex. Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) is in charge of lining up the sponsors to unveil the new species. Meanwhile, Owen (Chris Pratt) has been working with the Velociraptors, studying how they hunt and respond to his commands. He has a respect for these animals and their power. Hoskins (Vincent D'Onofrio) lurks around the Velociraptor's pen and sees these animals as possible military weapons. Owen and Hoskins do not see eye-to-eye. Owen is called in by Claire to take a look at the Indominus Rex's paddock to make sure that it will adequately contain the new creature before it is revealed to the public. It is only a matter of time before this giant creature is loose and rampaging through the Park. Will Owen and Claire be able to take down the Indominus Rex before it kills everyone in the Park?

Loved this movie. It is the perfect summer movie. There is constant action. There is an evil creature out to destroy everyone and there is a hero to save the day. And, it is funny in parts, too. Chris Pratt was great in this film. I really like him as the action hero. I thought the dinosaurs looked amazing and the theme park was really cool. I wanted to go there myself until the Indominus Rex got loose! The Husband and all of our movie friends loved it. Maggie's only complaint was that it was a few minutes too long because she had to go to the bathroom and there was no break in the action for her to run out! TRNRJOE was supposed to send me his quote but didn't. He liked it so I guess that is good for him. Anyway, this is an awesome, action-packed summer popcorn movie. Good for the family, but beware of taking the really younger kids. There is a lot of scary dinosaur chomping going on. Go see it!! And, be prepared because there will probably be a sequel....
