Jill's Review

Opens October 27, 2017
Runs 91 minutes
Is Jigsaw really back? When gruesome bodies start turning up, all signs point to John Kramer aka Jigsaw (Tobin Bell). The only problem is that John Kramer has been dead for ten years. Detective Halloran (Callum Keith Rennie) is back on the case. Will Halloran figure out what is going on or is he being used in another sick and twisted game?
I love the Saw franchise. But, not this installment. I thought this was weak. It starts off with a bang and I had high hopes. But, then the plot gets all muddled and the torture games are no where near as unique or creative as in the past. When all is revealed, it feels like a cheat. And then it just ends so there has to be a sequel. Definitely, my least favorite installment. I would skip it. Go see "It" or even "Happy Death Day" (at least that one is funny and bad) if you want a decent scare.
