Based on the Broadway musical and directed by Clint Eastwood, this is the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Told in a similar manner to the musical, each of the characters tells part of the story from their point of view. Starting from the beginning on the streets of New Jersey, the movie follows Frankie Valli (Tony Winner John Lloyd Young), Tommy DeVito (Vincent Piazza), Nick Massi (Michael Lomenda) and Bob Gaudio (Erich Bergen) through the peaks and valleys of their lives and careers.

Since most of the cast are veterans of the stage, the singing is phenomenal. These guys have performed this show so many times that they just can't go wrong. The chemistry and the rapport between the guys is so real. I've seen the Broadway show 4 times and I was still moved by the movie version. John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli was just as good on screen as he was live. He can sing like an angel and he really brought the movie to life for me. I still get a thrill from hearing how many hits these guys had. Trainer Joe even enjoyed it and believe me, he is not a musical person (no offense Trainer Joe). This movie will leave you singing as you walk out of the theatre.  (Trainer Joe was only humming, but that is good for him.) Go see it now. It is so much fun.
