Jill's Review

Runs 91 minutes

Dr. Seth Ember (Aaron Eckhart) has the ability to enter the minds of the possessed and drive out evil spirits. He is summoned to help "evict" an evil spirit from a young boy (David Mazouz) by a representative from the Vatican (Catalina Sandino Moreno). The boy's distraught mother (Carice Van Houten) has nowhere else to turn. Soon, Dr. Ember realizes that this evil spirit is luring him in because of a tragedy in his past. Can Ember fight off this demon and save the boy?

Who cares? This movie was below average. It had a really good cast but I thought the script was really lacking. It was convoluted and confusing. It could have been really creative if it had been written better. There was very litte suspense and you didn't really care what happened to anybody. I have seen many better horror films. Go see Don't Breathe if you want to be on the edge of your seat. Skip this one.
