Dino is in real estate but would like to enhance his social standing. His daughter Serena dates Massimiliano Bernaschi, the spoiled rich son of Giovanni, a hedge fund manager and his bored wife, Carla. Dino manages to ingratiate himself with the family and is soon borrowing money to invest in the risky hedge fund. One night, both families attend a charity event at the kid's school. After the event, a cyclist is run off the road by a hit and run driver. The families lives become even more entangled after this incident.

I loved this movie. It is told in four parts, from the standpoints of Dino, Serena, Carla and then the final chapter. It keeps you guessing as to who ran the cyclist off the road. But the tension also builds as Dino borrows money that he can't afford to pay back for the hedge fund investment, which slowly tanks. The set up is almost thriller-like and really keeps you invested in what is happening. I liked how the story unfolded from each of these characters' viewpoints. If you like a good whodunit and don't mind subtitles, this one is great! Go see it!
