Even as a child Maximo (Eugenio Derbez) knew he wanted to be rich and didn't want to have to work for it. So, he married a much older women with lots of money. For 25 years he has been living the good life, with servants and fancy cars. He plays golf at the club with another kept man (Rob Lowe) and has no other responsibilities. When he is dumped by his wife for a much younger model, he has nowhere to go. He shows up at his sister's apartment and begs her to take him in. Sara (Salma Hayek) and her son Hugo (Raphael Alejandro) take pity on him. Soon, he is wreaking havoc on their lives, trying to help Hugo get the cute girl in his class while he tries to make a move on the gilr's grandmother Celeste (Raquel Welch). Hilarity and even family bonding ensues.

I liked this movie much more than I should have. I laughed a lot. There were predictable jokes and even then, I laughed. At a couple spots, I was almost in tears from laughing. This movie will not win any awards, but it is pure harmless fun. And, the actors seem like they are having a great time going along for the ride. Rob Lowe still looks gorgeous. Kristin Bell is hilarious as a cat lady with more scratches and bandages every time she appears on screen. Selma Hayek, Raquel Welch and even Rob Corddry all play along. And, Eugenio Derbez is always likeable even when he is trying to take the easy way out! In the end, the message about family is a good one. Fun date movie or girl's night out.  Just go with it and have a good time. Go see it.
