Runs 93 minutes

Ten years in the future in Los Angeles, the city is in chaos. People are rioting in the streets because all of the clean water supply has been bought up by corporate interests. Nurse (Jodie Foster) runs a hospital for criminals with nowhere else to go to get treatment. They maintain a membership and show up whenever they are in need. With the city on fire, two of her suites are already full. Nice (Sofia Boutella), a trained assassin and Acapulco (Charlie Day), an Arms dealer are in residence (the clients go by the name of their suites). Things heat up when Waikiki (Sterling K. Brown) and Honolulu (Brian Tyree Henry), brothers and bank robbers check in. And it seems that Waikiki and Nice may have some unfinished business. Then, things get really nasty when The Wolf King (Jeff Goldblum) checks into the Niagara Suite. He and his gang are out for revenge against everyone. Nice and Waikiki must team up to protect themselves and the Hotel from the Wolf King's son and his evil thugs. Will anyone survive the night?

I really liked this movie. The Husband enjoyed it but not as much as me. I found it to be very original. I loved seeing Jodie Foster in this role. Her backstory plays out over the course of the film. I loved how that was done. I thought all of the characters were great. Dave Bautista as Everest (a health care professional and don't you forget it! ha!) was hllarious. Jenny Slate as an injured cop was used only to propel Nurse's backstory. She was the weakest character. Sofia Boutella was so athletic. She was amazing in her fight scenes. I found this film to be entertaining and something a little different. It is violent so just be prepared for that. Otherwise, if you like a good action/thriller movie, then this might be for you. Go see it.
