Officer Cooper (Reese Witherspoon) is a by-the-books policewomen currently on desk duty for a slight taser mishap. When Detective Jackson shows up at the precinct in need of a female agent to help him transport Mr. and Mrs. Riva to Dallas to testify against a Drug Lord, Cooper is assigned to the case. Along the way, they are ambushed by gunmen leaving Detective Jackson and Mr. Riva dead. Cooper and Mrs. Riva (Sofia Vergara) must try to outrun the men following them and make it to Dallas in time for the trial or die trying.

This movie is a "hot" mess. I love Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. But, it just seems like they are having to try too hard to make this movie funny. It is almost embarrassing. However, I did laugh. There were some very funny scenes. And the blooper scenes in the credits are a riot. Overall, this was a very average movie. If you think you really want to see it, go for a matinee. Otherwise, you can probably skip this one.
