Based on the best-selling book by the same name, this movie tells the inspiring story of a boy, Colton Burpo (Connor Corum) who nearly dies on the operating table but miraculously survives and lives to tell about his visit to Heaven while the doctors struggled to save his life.  His parents, Todd Burpo (Greg Kinnear) the town pastor and volunteer fireman and his mother, Sonja (Kelly Reilly) along with the rest of the town are skeptical of his incredible story.  Soon his accurate and specific details of people he has never met except in Heaven seem to confirm the existence of Heaven.

This is such a lovely and inspiring movie. It is very well done. The little boy is just adorable and Greg Kinnear does a great job of being skeptical and open at the same time.  Definitely worth the price of admission.
