Runs 96 minutes

Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) wakes up in Carter's (Israel Broussard) dorm room on her Birthday only to discover that she is living a nightmare. It seems that someone wants her dead and she continues to re-live her Birthday/death day over and over. The only way to beat this curse is to solve her own murder.

I actually thought this movie was kind of fun. It is like a PG-13 horror Groundhog's Day. Tree wakes up every day in the same dorm room, re-living the same walk of shame, sprinklers, car alarm, etc. She knows she will be killed by the end of the day and she is determined to figure out who wants her dead. She figures the only way to end the cycle is to stop her would-be murderer from killing her. The movie is actually quite funny (not sure if this was on purpose or not, but it is funny). And, it keeps you interested in who is trying to kill Tree and why. You see, she is not very nice. But, as the story evolves and more and more clues as to what is going on are revealed, Tree realizes that maybe it is time to change. There are a few too many endings to the film. And there are plenty of corny and non-sensical situations. But, for a PG-13 horror film (not very scary, more like a mystery), this one is not too bad. It won't win any awards. If you just want to go with some friends and have a good time, then this might be for you.
