Picking up 5 years after the last Godzilla, the super secret Monarch Agency now controls the giant pre-historic monsters that demolished San Francisco. They are being kept "on ice", basically in hibernation, hidden around the world. Monarch is at odds with the Government who thinks these creatures should be under government supervision and maybe even destroyed. When an eco-terrorist type group decides to free the creatures to try to reset the world's balance, a small group of scientists must do everything in their power to save the world. And, they need Godzilla on their side in order to win this round.

I actually liked this movie. I liked all of the characters and I felt that there was enough of a plot to keep me interested. I thought the scenes with Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah were all pretty cool. Ghidorah had three heads. Each one looked like a dragon from Game of Thrones! And, of course, they regenerated if they got chewed off. Ha! Anyway, the movie was fun. I thought Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Ken Wantanabe and Bradley Whitford all did a good job. It was even a little sad toward the end of the film. I even thought the technology was cool. So, overall it was a good summer popcorn flick. Go see it.
