Amber (Lindsay Pulsipher) and Bree (MacKenzie Moss) live in a small town and spend a lot of their time in church, where Amber is the choir director. Her close friends Bridgette (Jordan Sparks) and Karena (Robin Givens), along with Bree, sing in the choir. Amber is awaiting the return of her husband Darren who is serving in Afghanistan. When the worst happens and Darren is killed in action, Amber and Bree must pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward. However, the road forward is not always straight and there is often pain, suffering and even loss of faith. Luckily, God is always there and blesses even the broken road that leads back to Him.

I am sure the critics will pick this film apart. It is often predictable and a little hokey. But, if you like faith based films like me, then you will like this one. It is full of emotion, hope and faith. It takes Amber a little while to find her way back to God but she always has friends and family helping lead the way. It is a sweet and touching film. I enjoyed it. You will shed a few tears and walk away satisfied. Perfect for the whole family, so grab the kids and go see it.
