Gloria (Paulina Garcia in a bravura performance) is a divorced woman, a little lonely, but content to find happiness at dance clubs for single adults. Then she meets Rodolfo at one of the dances and rediscovers her passion. They have immediate chemistry and begin an affair. It soon becomes apparent that he is not all that she thought. She finds out that she is stronger than she imagined and life will be just fine for her in her golden years.
This movie was Chile's official entry for Best Foreign Language film for the Academy Awards. Paulina Garcia gives a great performance. I found myself feeling a little sorry for her and I don't think that was the movie's intent. However, it was a good movie and worth the time.
