When Ryan Pierce (Regina Hall) is invited to be the guest speaker at the Essence Festival in New Orleans, she decides to round up the rest of her college friends - The Flossy Posse - and make it a girl's trip. Sasha (Queen Latifah), Lisa (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Dina (Tiffany Haddish) all meet her in New Orleans for a weekend of drinking, dancing and sisterhood.

The Husband and I saw this. I thought the cast was great and overall, it was pretty funny. But it was so crude and raunchy. The Husband didn't like it at all. It was just too over the top for him. Parts of it are laugh out loud funny. These women are great actresses and I did think that Tiffany Haddish was a find. She cracked me up. But, it feesls like all of them had to lower their standards to be in this film. I think this movie would have been just as effective with a PG-13 rating. There is only so much of women cursing like sailors that I can take. A funny film. Just not in the same league as Bridesmaids. Too crude. If you go, see a matinee.
