In 1966, Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and Ken Miles (Christian Bale) are hired by Henry Ford II himself (Tracy Letts) to build a race car that could challenge Ferrari and win the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Together, they battle all kinds of corporate interference and outright disbelief to build a revolutionary car under the Ford brand. The rest is history.

I LOVED this film. It is exceptional. It is funny and fast-paced. It is well-acted and even touching. The racing scenes will leave you breathless. Christian Bale, as Ken Miles the race car driver, is perfect. Cocky and stubborn, but the best driver around. Matt Damon is also perfect as Carroll Shelby, a car genius who must play the peace-keeping middleman between the corporate bigwigs and his hot-headed driver. The rest of the cast is top-notch, as well. This film is a delight. It doesn't matter if you like race car driving or not. This film will make you laugh, cry and leave the theatre feelling completely entertained. Go see it!!
