Runs 90 minutes

Erica (Zoey Deutch) is a sexually promiscuous teenager. She and her friends even use her sexuality for monetary profit by luring men into illicit acts and then brazenly bribing them to keep their encounters secret. You see Erica is saving up to bail her Dad out of jail. You might say she has Daddy issues. Erica's mother Laurie (Kathryn Hahn) has moved on and now has a new boyfriend Bob (Tim Heidecker). He is a catch and she is not about to lose him to Erica's crazy antics. Bob has a stepson Luke (Joey Morgan) fresh out of rehab. Laurie encourages Erica to be nice to Luke and soon she and Luke form a bond. When Erica finds out that Luke was molested by the hot, old guy at the bowling alley, Will (Adam Scott), she and her friends decide to help Luke get even. Only things don't turn out as they planned and soon Erica and Luke are faced with one of the most difficult decisions of their young lives - run or face the music. Which will they choose?

I really liked this movie. It is very darkly funny, crude and explicit. But, it also has heart. Zoey Deutch gives a breakout performance. She is funny, crude and heart-breakingly vulnerable. She makes the entire film so watchable. Everyone else is really good, too, especially Kathryn Hahn. She loves her daughter but is also desperate for someone to love her. Critics are complaining about the ending but I didn't really have a problem with it. I'm not sure what they would have done differently. If you are a fan of independent cinema, then this is a must see for you. Find it and go see it. (This is for adults only, no kids!)
