Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is a sweet, forgetful Blue Tang fish. You see she has short-term memory loss and forgets things within seconds. But, somehow she remembers that she lost her parents. She decides to search for them. Marvin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence) set out to help her. Along the way, she meets old and new characters that help her in her journey. Hank (Ed O'Neill) the octopus (or really septopus - you'll have to watch the film) becomes one of her new friends and he gets her out of a scrape or two. All roads lead to the Marine Life Institute where Dory fears that her parents may be held in captivity. Can she find them and rescue them before they are shipped across the country for good?

A sweet movie about friendship, famiy and finding your way home. It is also about anyone who is different and how that makes you a special and unique individual. The characters were cute - most of them were back from the original. Ellen DeGeneres as Dory was great. Ed O'Neill as Hank the Octopus and Idris Elba as Fluke the Sea Lion provided plenty of humor and great voice work. The animation was top notch and the story was good. It was a very simple plot and very similar to Finding Nemo, although Nemo was better and much more original. Overall, a fun movie for kids and families. The Husband took a small nap and was a tad bored. The film was rated PG but could have been G. If you loved Nemo, you will like this one. Worth seeing but remember that it is a kid's film.
