Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) agrees to interview enigmatic billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) as a favor for her sick roommate. What she finds is a handsome and inscrutable man that will change her life, in ways she could never anticipate.

This is based on the best-selling trilogy of "Mommy Porn" of the same name. I didn't read the books but I pretty much knew the whole story going in. I thought the movie was fairly dull for a story about S&M. Dakota and Jamie looked great. Dakota was naked for half the movie. Jamie barely showed his derriere. Where are equal rights when you need them? I don't know what I was expecting but maybe some sparks and fireworks? This movie was not romantic. It was very businesslike. And of course, it ended at the typical will they or won't they moment. Maybe the sequel(s) wiill cover the back story that was missing from this movie if you haven't read the books. I would say you could skip this movie. And, definitely if you go don't go with a date!
