This is a documentary about the food industry and what has led to the obesity epidemic that is facing our country today.
This is an interesting movie that provides lots of facts and food for thought (Ha!). The main take away is that sugar is addictive and our chlldren are becoming hard wired to need sugar....especially soda. My main complaint is that these kind of movies always avoid any personal responsibility and try to blame everything on the evil food industry. Parents do buy the food for these children. However, the movie does make some good points about availability of food and there are several case studies of kids really trying to change their habits for the better. If you care about what you eat and like documentaries, this is a pretty good one.
