Runs 100 minutes

Dr. Franklin Storm (Reg E. Cathey) and his super smart adopted daughter Sue (Kate Mara) work for Baxter, a lab/training facility full of other very smart people working on leading edge technology. They recruit Reed Richards (Miles Teller) based on his high school science project which he built with his best friend Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell). His invention actually seems to transport matter from one dimension to another and back again. Once Reed is on board, they bring in Victor Von Doom (Toby Kebbell) and Dr. Storm's son, Johnny (Michael B. Jordan) to round out the team. These four science nerds work together and build the first teleportation device. Then they are informed that NASA is going to take it frrom them. They decide that they want to be the first people to teleport so Reed recruits Ben to join them and they head off. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong. Sue has to bring them home, but they come home physically altered. Now, they must learn to use their altered states and work together to save Earth from Dr. Doom.

This movie starts out with promise. Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben are all likeable enough. Their invention is interesting. But, once they transform into "superheroes" the movie falls off the rails. It feels much longer than it is. It slows down to a crawl just when it should be picking up steam for the climax. Very dull. I didn't really care about any of these characters. I would definitely skip this one. And, if you do go, there are no extras after the credits so don't waste your time.
