This is a story of two sons who grew up not knowing much about their fathers. John (Kevin Downes) lives in California and is about to be married to Cynthia (Candace Cameron Bure). He has just inherited his Mother's old house and starts going though some of her boxes. When he finds his Father's old Vietnam War keepsakes, he longs to find out more about how his Father died. He tracks down his Father's old Army buddy and travels to Mississippi to talk to him only to learn that it is his son Wayne (David A.R. White) who lives there now. John and Wayne are strangers but Wayne convinces John that they should travel together to the Vietnam War Memorial to find closure for their Father's deaths. Together they learn that their Fathers were close even at the end and that John's Father's Faith in God carried them through the most difficult situation they would ever face.

This is a faith-based film. It has not been very highly rated by the critics, but it is a fairly good movie. Faith in God is the driving force of the film and it is nice to see a film that puts that front and center. There are a few names in the movie - Stephen Baldwin and Candace Cameron Bure. They do a nice job. But, overall it is just nice to see a movie that has no curse words, no sex and quotes scripture. It is funny and heartfelt. There are a few situations that might raise eyebrows but that is not the point of the movie. Just go to enjoy watching the two main actors travel on a spiritual journey that leads them back to their Fathers. If we want more Christian films, then we need top support them. Go see it!
