It's 1980 and Jake (Blake Jenner) is headed to a small Texas college to play Baseball. He joins his fellow teammates (Wyatt Russell, Ryan Guzman, Temple Baker, among others) in their off campus housing, relishing his first taste of unsupervised freedom in the days before actual classes start. Together, the young men forge their identities and bond as only teammates can do.

This movie is really funny and captures the feel of the 80's perfectly - the music (My Sharona, Looking For Love in All the Wrong Places and others), the short shorts and the mustaches. There were no cell phones, no tattoos and the drinking age was 18. Practically, a different world. The film is so perfect and it evokes so many memories. There isn't a very deep plot, just a slice of life as these young men bond and spread their wings in the days before classes begin. This is rated R but it is funny, light but touching and very nostalgic. Go see it!!
