Clara (Karla Souza) is a successful OB-GYN in Los Angeles. She thinks she's seen it all and thinks love is over-rated. She spends her time between L.A. and Baja, visiting her parents and singing Karaoke at her local bar. She even takes home a man once in awhile - no strings, just fun. When her parents decide to get married after 40 years together, she convinces a co-worker to attend the wedding with her. Dr. Asher Grace (Ben O'Toole) thinks Clara is gorgeous and fun and agrees to go. Everything is great until Clara's ex Daniel (Jose Maria Yazpik) shows up. You see, he is the reason she is so down on love and he is the last person she expected to see at her parent's wedding. Now, Clara is torn between the love she remembers from the past or a chance at something new.

I loved this movie. I have to admit the pickings were slim at the cinema this weekend. This just hit the spot. Cute, funny, romantic and entertaining. The scenery was gorgeous and so were all all of the actors. It is a fairly light-weight movie but it is well-acted, fluidly moving between English and Spanish. The whole movie was well-done. It keeps you pleasantly surprised and the payoff is rewarding. Perfect date movie. It is a little risque but not over the top. Really enjoyed this one. Go see it.
