Runs 110 minutes

Six strangers show up to participate in an Escape Room with a $10,000 prize. Zoey (Taylor Russell) is shy and introverted. She is trying something outside her comfort zone. Ben (Logan Miller) is in a dead end job and doesn't really know why he agreed to participate. Jason (Jay Ellis) is super competitive. Mike (Tyler Labine) was signed up to participate by his nephew. Danny (Nik Dodani) is an Escape Room fanatic. And Amanda (Deborah Ann Woll) just wants the cash. Well, all six get more than they bargained for and must team up and work together if they want to make it out alive.

This film is tense from beginning to end. It has elements of horror, similar to a PG-13 Saw. The Husband and I liked it. It isn't some great movie but you get to know the characters and start rooting for your favorites. The situations are crazy and of course, there are a few twists. One of which I saw coming - the Husband didn't. And, it is set up perfectly for a sequel. This won't appeal to everyone. There were two groups that walked out of our showing (I guess they didn't see the preview). But, everyone else seemed to have a good time. My blood pressure took a few minutes to come down after the end of the film! I love a movie that does that! So, if you like thriller/horror films that keep you on the edge of your seat, then this might be for you. Go see it.
