Jade Butterfield (Gabriella Wilde) a sheltered and privileged girl, has just graduated high school where she has spent all of her time studying to get into Brown.  Her father (Bruce Greenwood) has kept her on a tight leash since the death of her oldest brother a few years ago.  She is the apple of his eye and the one to follow in his footsteps.  David Elliot (Alex Pettyfer), a mechanic's son with a troubled past has had his eye on her but never had the courage to ask her out.  They run into each other and start a summer fling.  Her Father eventually puts his foot down and tries to stop the romance.  In the end, lthey are determined to prove that love conquers all.

This movie was actually better than expected.  The people and places are all so attractive, it is hard not to get lured into thier lives.  Not bad.
