Jill's Review

Opens March 7, 2014 in Dallas

81 Minutes

An intimate look at an indomitable star.  This documentary gives you an up close and personal glimpse into the life of 87 year old Elaine Stritch, a Tony and Emmy Award winning performer.  She is feisty and funny and realizes her limitations as she continues to perform, even into her 80's.  This takes you behind the scenes as she prepares for her performances and uses archival footagae to showcase her at the top of her game. She reveals her day to day life, alcoholism, diabetes and all.  She isn't worried about aging because everyone does it!

The is bold and hilarious.  You will laugh and be touched.  She is still a one-of-a kind performer, even when she can't remember all of the words.  And, she does it all wearing no pants!
