This is the story of Jeremy (Martin Castro), an eight year-old boy who discovers that he is a genius living in a family full of people who just don't get him. He decides to write to Dr. Federico Forni (Daniel Gimenez Cacho), a renowned doctor who works with genius children. He hopes that Dr. Forni can help him figure out what to do with his life. Dr. Forni responds and soon Jeremy is living in Mexico City along with three other "genius" kids filming a documentary. He finally found some friends who understand him. Unfortunately, Jeremy discovers that Dr. Forni is not such a nice man and has chosen to embarrass him and his family in the documentary. Jeremy takes matters into his own hands and learns that family is ultimately the most important thing.

I loved this movie. It is filmed with a light touch and it is very funny. The kid who plays Jeremy is adorable. His family is full of a bunch of misfits but you can tell that love is what keeps them all together. I really enjoyed this film. If you like independent films that entertain and surprise you, this might be for you. Go see it.
