I really liked this movie but it might not be for everyone. It is very dark, disturbing and depressing. Nicole Kidman is virtually unrecognizable as she sinks into her character and further into despair. I liked the way the story was told in flashbacks and how it all circled back around to the current murder. Sebastian Stan is really good, too. The chemisrty between him and Nicole is crackling. Anyway, if you like a good but very dark detective story, then this might be for you. You won't come out of the movie thinking about sunshie and puppies. But, Nicole's performance is worth the price of admission. Go see it.
