Gerard Butler is Nick Flanagan, head of an elite unit of the L.A. County Sheriff's department. When an empty armored car is stolen, Nick and his team set out to solve the crime. This leads them to Merrimen (Pablo Schreiber), leader of an outlaw band of bank robbers. In a battle of wits, Nick and his team pull out all of the stops to prevent Merrimen and his gang from pulling off the most daring heist yet - robbing the Federal Reserve.

The Husband and I had fun watching this movie. Yes - there are a few glaring plot holes, particularly regarding getting in and out of the Federal Reserve Building and days old Chinese take-out. But, overall the film is action packed with a few nice plot twists. It was amusing watching Gerard Butler and Pablo Schreiber matching wits. And, O'Shea Jackson, Jr. was really good in an important role. If you like fast paced heist films and you can just let go and have fun, then you might like this film. Not bad for a cold January day. Go see it.
