Runs 91 minutes

This is a documentary that looks at Jewish delicatessens in the United States. It shows historically how they formed in neighborhoods and how they have fared over time. The film is centrally focused on "Ziggy" Gruber and his deli, Kenny & Ziggy's in Houston Texas. Including interviews with celebrities like Jerry Stiller and Larry King and a look at some of the more famous delis like Carnegie and the Stage Deli, this is an inside look at what it takes to be a Deli man today.

Loved this film. It is an intimate look at the life of a Deli man. Ziggy Gruber lives for his deli in Houston and the people all love him. Running one of these delis is definitely a way of life. The movie is funny, historical and insightful. I would definitely resommend it! The food looks delicious so don't go hungry! I hope to eat at Kenny & Ziggy's next time I'm in Houston.
