Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Forces operative turned Mercenary. He is very sarcastic and devil-may-care. He meets Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) and "her crazy matches his crazy" and they fall in love. Of course, everything is great until Wade develops terminal cancer. He agrees to undergo an experimental treatment that cures his cancer but also leaves him with accelerated healing powers and burn scars that leave him unrecognizeable. He assumes the alias "Deadpool" and dons a red suit because it covers his hideous face and camoflages the blood stains. His only focus is to find Ajax/Francis (Ed Skrein), the man who turned him into an "avocado that had sex with an even uglier avocado" (according to his best friend Weasel (T.J. Miller)) and get him to cure the hideous scarring. He recruits a few of the lesser known X-Men to hunt down Francis and chaos ensues. Will anyone survive the collateral damage?

This movie is profane, violent and very funny. It is not meant for children and they should not see it. The language is extreme and there is also graphic violence and nudity. That being said, Ryan Reynolds gives a great performance. He is perfect for the roll of the sarcastic and witty Deadpool. He comments under his breath and even talks to the audience. The movie is fun, entertaining and fast-paced. And, there is a love story for everyone. I really liked it. The Husband and TRNRJOE were a little more hesitant because it was so profane, but overall they thought it was pretty good. If you love Ryan Reynolds at his snarky best, then this is the movie for you! Go see it. Then, stay for the credits for a special extra scene. Not that revealing, but funny!!
