This is the Biblical story of David and Goliath.

I hate to belittle an earnest, Christian film but this movie was very poorly made. I had to go back and double check some of the reviews I read to see if I saw the same movie that others were raving about. The good thing about the film is that it sticks to the Scripture. David is seen praying to God and quoting Bible verses. He goes into battle against Goliath with God at his side. Other than that, the acting is horrendous, the editing is really terrible and you can hear the microphones echoing throughout the film. The extras look like they came from Walmart and everyone just wanders around. I'll stop here. If you already know the story, this movie has nothing to add and is very dull and repetitive. It might be useful for a fourth grade Sunday School class as illustration or something, but I would just go watch the Ten Commandments again or something like that. Sorry..... P.S. Goliath was played by Jerry the Giant who is 7'8" and is the tallest man in Canada apparently.
