Jill's Review

Runs 90 minutes

This starts out as a dinner party with eight friends during the night of an unusual astrological event. Of course, while the comet is passing by overhead, all kinds of psychological drama is happening below at the dinner party. Is it being caused by the once-in-a-lifetime comet or maybe the ketamine that someone brought to the party? It seems that there is another dinner party just down the street with the exact same people attending....chaos theory at work?

I liked this movie. But don't expect a nice, bow-tied ending. And don't have any cocktails before you go, you will need all of your faculties to follow along. However, it is worth the ride. Go with friends so that you can discuss this afterwards. It will boggle your mind. It all takes place in a small house and occasionally moves outside. There is plenty of relationship drama which only adds to the tension of what is going on in the dining room. I can't say that I am sure of what exactly happened but I explained it to myself and I am satisfied with how it resolved. If you like puzzles and don't mind slightly open endings, go see this.
