Runs 95 minutes

It's Christmas Eve and everyone is headed home to prepare for Christmas. When a freak accident leads to a power outage, six different groups of New Yorkers are left stranded in elevators for the night. Since they can't go anywhere and don't have any other choice, they are forced to interact with each other. Some are scared, some are angry and some just try to make the best of the situation. All are transformed in one way or another by morning.

This was a decent idea for a film. But, it just wasn't very well-written. The cast consists mostly of "B" movie stars - Patrick Stewart, Jon Heder, Gary Cole among others. It is supposed to be funny but it is more painful than anything. There are a few laughs, just not enough. And, I kept hoping that each of these groups would somehow tie to the other groups but there was really only one small overlap. A very average film. Skip it.
